Seeing Stars

Seeing Stars

Well, we’ve officially entered the season of winter. Yesterday was the winter solstice and the shortest day of the year. Each day will grow little bit longer from now until the summer solstice in June. It was, therefore, a great night for stars because it was the longest night of the year. Unfortunately, the skies around here were pretty cloudy last night and there really weren’t any stars showing through the haze. Therefore, we’re giving them a second chance to shine!

One of the reasons that we love stars so much is because they are so versatile. The simple yet elegant design will go with anything from a simple, casual outfit to a dressier ensemble. It is work-appropriate, but also a great party accessory. Take, for instance, Arena CPH’s Elsie Gold Star Necklace. Can you think of anything you can’t wear stars with? Because we can’t! Plus, the asymmetrical figure makes it just a little bit more interesting.

We also love the One of a Kind Star Red String Bracelet. These bracelets are reminiscent of the red Kabbalah-inspired bracelets many celebrities can be spotted wearing. A hexagram, more commonly known as a Star of David, charm dangles from the bracelet in your choice of silver or 18k gold plated. If that’s not along the lines of your wrist-adornment needs, we also have the Jules Smith Gold Kiss Off Bracelet which is an 18k yellow gold vermeil bracelet. Two gold charms, a star and a smooch, hang off of it near the clasp.

Then we can’t forget about ornamenting your ears! This is completely a personal call because we have two pairs that we just adore. First up we’ve got Brian Danielle Yellow Gold Diamond Star Studs. They are delightful little gems that have six small diamonds embedded in each earring. We also love Jules Smith’s Midnight at the Carwash Gold Star Earrings because they kind of remind us of a disco. These earrings will surely attract attention as they twinkle on your earlobes.

Sparkle with star-inspired jewelry! There’s nothing more beautiful than a star studded sky. Actually, now there’s competition: you! Don some star jewelry for a glamorous effect, night and day. The stars can’t compete with that!

Star necklaces are absolutely fun and chic. Try them on in all different styles. The Gorjana Gold Super Star Necklace is simple and features two stars, one large and one small. Another, the Gorjana Gold Star Wrap Necklace, has stars scattered throughout the chain. Feeling adventurous? Stand out in the Samantha House Your Highness Necklace. Speckled with stars, this one is sure to be eye-catching. Bold? Slip on the Blu Black Star Necklace; Lindsey Lohan sported similar earrings not too long ago!

If you’re a fan of large charms, try the Lisa Stewart Moon and Star Necklace; the large star and moon are accompanied by a lovely crystal detail. Looking for a chic charm? Dazzle with the Arena CPH Elsie Gold Star Necklace. It is very simple and feminine. For a knockout star appearance, glitter your finger with the Brian Danielle Diamond Star Ring. It will make actual stars twinkle with envy. Finally, a great addition to any evening outfit, the Carolina Diamond Moon and Star Necklace is a gorgeous piece. Get ready to shine!
