Kerri Wilder Peace Earrings

Kerri Wilder peace jewelry just arrived at Max & Chloe.  Celebrities have been spotted wearing the peace earrings all over town.  Lindsay Lohan and Minnie Driver are seen above sporting this cool look. Peace signs are all the rage right now. Kerri Wilder jewelry is hippie chic. We are now carrying a full line of Kerri Wilder necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings. They are all hammered to look like they are vintage and made out of sterling silver or gold vermeil.   Peace jewelry is stylish but also gives a powerful message. Peace will never go out of style.

Fourth of July - Jewelry as exciting as fireworks!
Posted July 3rd, 2008

Make a lasting impression this Fourth of July with fun and patriotic jewelry. This hectic day will be anything but frustrating when you are dressed in fun outfits and even better accessories. From family barbeques to evening fireworks, we’ve got just the right pieces for all of your festivities!

fourthofjulyblog2.jpg

Start off your day in the right mindset with Jessica Kagan Cushman bangles. “Let’s get this party started!” With this message in your mind and heart (not to mention on your wrist!) your entire day will be fun and memorable. Annoyed at pesky relatives during your family BBQ? Put on the “You can agree with me or you can be wrong” bangle and stop all incessant bickering.

For a more patriotic touch, just slip on a Kenneth Jay Lane Red, White & Blue Pyramid Bracelet. It will go nicely with whatever you choose to wear and show off your passion for all red, white and blue! This bracelet will make an even bolder statement with Kenneth Jay Lane Red Hoops.

Why let all the fireworks do the talking? You can sparkle as bright as any fireworks with the Wendy Mink Rainbow Chain, or shine as brightly as the summer night stars with the Blu Black Star Necklace and lovely Blu Gunmetal Crystal Heart Earrings.

Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Max & Chloe!!!

Bracelets of Summer
Posted July 1st, 2008

Summer is the perfect time to experiment with new styles. From attending summer concerts to going to the beach, we are in constant motion during the warm summer months. What better way to enjoy summer than by spicing up our fashion sense?

Beach Jewelry

As summer draws on, our only thoughts are of cool breezes and sunny beaches. Armed with our favorite swimsuits and cute beach wraps, we are in dire need of complementary, beach-worthy jewelry. Bold bracelets and thick bangles are the way to go. These come in playful colors and wonderful choices, from chunky to light. Not only will they go nicely with our bright bikinis, but they will also be sand and shore resilient, so that we don’t have to worry about ruining our gold bracelets and silver cuffs. The Starfish Bracelet by Ettika is a fun, quirky piece for every day beach use. Yochi Design Large Lucite Bangles are a vivid summery display, perfect for every beach from Malibu to Waikiki! [See bracelets 1 and 2.]

Riviera Bash

When the sun sets and the evening cool settles in, it’s time to let down our hair and put on our party dresses. Whether going to a salsa club or a fiesta in Cabo, let out your wild side with animal themed bracelets. They can be worn with a bright splash of color – as if you needed an excuse to don cute party dresses in tropical hues. Kenneth Jay Lane’s Monkey Bracelets are an eccentric edition to any party dress. Meanwhile, Kenneth Jay Lane Snake Bangle will prove you’re not just out to monkey around. You’ll be hissing and dancing all night long! [See bracelets 3 and 4.]

Picnic in the Park

Leafy shade and checkered blankets beckon. Invite your closest friends to a summer picnic. Bring your blanket, basket, and pretty floral bangles. Even though spring blossoms are long gone, there is no reason not to bring some flora of your own. Leila Floral Bangles are absolutely beautiful and come in a variety of color. As tempting as it is to reuse your favorite piece, this is the perfect opportunity to try something new. [See bracelet 5.]

Vintage Finds: Revamping Your Jewelry
Posted June 27th, 2008

Finding something valuable is such an exciting discovery. Before you bust out a metal detector, perhaps you should rummage through your jewelry box. Old jewelry can be a hidden treasure. Long-forgotten gold chains and plain hoop earrings are an untouched canvas: refurbishing old jewelry can boost your wardrobe without compromising your savings. By updating older pieces, you will obtain a unique look that no one else can replicate.

One of the easiest ways to refurbish jewelry is by adding charms. Alternate your heart pendant with an animal figurine or a seashell in honor of summer. Create themed jewelry too. Are you a fan of pirates? Find an assortment of chain lengths and attach charms: anchors, replica antique coins, and a seahorse. Do you have a chic, feminine style? Pair your favorite bracelets with tiny bows and heart charms. Are you an aficionado of elegance and sophistication? Update a plain pair of hoop earrings with embellished charms, such as Zasha’s Fleur De Lis and White Gold Almond earring charms.

Another option is borrowing old brooches from relatives. Attached to a chain or soft material bracelet, brooches can make quite the addition to an old piece of jewelry. And the best part is that when you get bored, you can easily swap the brooch for a new look!
