I've gotten several compliments on this necklace. I like the extender because I can slightly adjust length, if desired. The chain is not very expensive-looking; just your typical silver chain. But that's what you get for $39. It's kind of goth looking, but in a very subtle, ladylike way. If this was offered in gold or white gold, I would consider buying, since I'm a little concerned that this might someday tarnish. Other than that, I'm very happy with purchase. Btw - very satisfied with M&C's service & fast shipping.
